"I will always remember that I got to actually watch a rodeo besides on TV. The last thing I will remember is the Junior Staff and meeting new people and going to Yellowstone and seeing all the nice animals and getting to see a real life author."
- Greg

"The four day backpacking trip was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Until Ben said he believed in me... that's when I started to believe in myself. That's how I did it."
- Ricardo

"The stuff we did was really fun because I never did it in my life. Like when we went to see the fireworks and white water rafting and when we went to the hot springs and when Courtney showed me how to ride Jupiter and when the mountain man came."
- Stanley

"CKWP- What I think of the past few days has been a challenge but has been very exciting. The camp was really fun, great and exciting. Thank you all for making it possible for me to come out here."
- Alonte

"One of my favorite classes was "drama" (Pro-Social Skills) with Casey. She was too funny and always said "rephrase" when we said something wrong."
- Fred

"The best part of backpacking trip was it was the funniest trip ever. I thought it was going to be hard but it wasn't at all hard. All of the junior counselors are fun, too."

"My camper memory is when I went rock climbing. I've never done it but it felt like I was good at it. Thanks to everyone's support, and my strength, I got to the top of everything."
- Alex - Leadership Program

"I remember when I did a multi-pitch climb. I was proud of myself, because I was thinking, if I can do this, I can do anything. On the hiking days, everyone had a day to lead, and on my day I made sure that everyone was okay, and convinced them to keep on going. Even when I was tired, I wanted to keep going."
- Eddie - Leadership Program

"My favorite memories of the camp are basically everything. When we went white-water rafting, I was kind of nervous because I heard about the Big Kahuna. But when I actually rode it, it wasn't so scary. I thought that this was a very good first year for me."
- Eric

"During my stay in Wyoming, I really enjoyed myself. My most favorite memories are climbing those mountains that I never thought I could climb, like Bunsen Peak and Death Canyon. This is my first year, so I took my time doing stuff I hadn't done before. I also enjoyed all of the Mud Volcanoes in Yellowstone."
- Kantu

"Learning to swim was also one of the best things I learned because I conquered my fear of drowning. Riding a horse was one of the best things I did because I have never loped on a horse before and I always wanted to go that fast on a horse. Seeing wild animals was another thing I enjoyed because I can live to say that I saw animals in their natural habitat."
- Thomas

"Leadership was very new and challenging when it came to most situations. But also at times, it became fun and enjoyable to do new things for the first time. Like going rock climbing and stepping to a higher level and going hiking for nine days. But being in leadership, what I learned most is that there is nothing wrong with trying new things to the best of your ability."
- Olubunmi - Leadership Program

"I really like this camp a lot. It taught me things I didn't know I could do. White water rafting was very exciting. When we went to Yellowstone and hiked, I felt very good about myself. Yellowstone really made me think about all the things I could really do. When we went canoeing at New Forts Lake, I was really proud of myself for not complaining and I helped out a whole lot."
- Dalaya

"What really changed me mentally was when I went on the four day backpacking trip. I am only eleven and I was really surprised that I went on the trip. The trip really told me that my mind and body is capable of surviving in the wilderness for four days."
- Serena

"When I climbed the mountains for four days, I was thinking about my life in 20 more years. When I'm thirty, I will tell my child what I did when I was in Wyoming. I'm going to feel very proud of myself. All of the counselors and junior counselors really helped me out a lot."
- Bre'Nea

"This experience was good for my body, mind and spirit. I faced my fear of heights, and my fear of getting on a horse and riding it. I was scared to even touch the horse. Everyone of the staff were great and became my friends."
- Rebecca

"The thing I remember most is when I rode the horses. Yaqui is my favorite horse I rode. He was fun and I like the way he rides. He's the best horse we have here at camp. Camp was fun and I made a lot of new friends. I made friends by talking to them, playing and staying with them for three weeks."
- Rasheta
